@H1mynameisLarry The BART is actually owned by the San Fransisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. It's controlled by a *publicly* elected board of directors who are elected by residents. It's not a private entity entitled to property/privacy laws. BART is a gov. entity, so no, it's not more theirs than mine. We pay for the service because tax allocation goes towards maintenance, not daily transport and in fact goes back into the system we paid for. I pay for the roads, but there are still tolls.

It's not a private entity entitled to property/privacy laws. BART is a gov. entity, so no, it's not more theirs than mine. We pay for the service because tax allocation goes towards maintenance, not daily transport and in fact goes back into the system we paid for. I pay for the roads, but there are still tolls.

Isn't it ironic how this all started because of people DISLIKING cops but in the end of the day, they end up giving them overtime? Do u know what over-time is? Overtime = LOTS OF MONEY. Money is seen as a good thing in this society if you didn't notice. I find it funny how a city with 1,000,000 population have 50-100 protesters. its quite obvious no one cares. Its just amusing.

One point they brought up was what if a riot occurred and someone threw or kicked out a Bart train window causing glass to go all over a passenger? It's a gamble they did not want to risk.
