Maybe but we thought even to this situation. The lock resist till 40Kgs force due to that it must avoid the lite dangerous contacts (the high contacts in any case make you fall down). so if the tongue remains in the lever you can strongl push the lever and brake the tongue that has several pre determined braking points.

What if the lock bar fails to return back in its position, it could result in catastrophical situations.
