I think a lot of asian guys won't pursue white women for various reasons, and people from both sides tend to avoid the unfamiliar. It takes special folks like us to break down those barriers haha. Well, I'm an American Filipino, and I haven't dated a white girl but SOME of them had crushes on me. However, I've noticed that these white girls who had crushes on me particulary only liked Asian culture and probably liked me BECAUSE I was asian. If someone was to date me, I would want a genuine interest not just because of my race. Also, I am currently talking to a Spanish girl right now, and since I am Filipino I can relate to her culture more. Maybe Asian guys should go for Spanish.

I have the same problem though I am a caucasian female. For an American I am actually very shy when it comes to Asians because I like Aian men a lot and I don't know how to get their interest. It doesn't matter to me what race the girl is and I have dated and been attracted to Asian girls before however it's just that I've found myself naturally preferring white girls. It's not a discrimatory thing, it's just what I prefer. It would be quite rare for me to be bowled over by an Asian girl.

We are still young as a nation though and we are trying. Things have definitely improved a lot in the last century when there was a White Australia policy in place.

Well... for me it's that there aren't many asians living where I live, so it's hard to meet any. Also I personally feel a little intimidated by good looking asians because a lot of them seem to prefer asian girl... I do not think that white girls do not like asian guys, in fact I am a living prove that this is not true. Just like you I have nothing against any other race, but I am mostly attracted to asian males. I personally think that it's very frustrating because I can not find a guy that I like and he likes me. i would say that most (non-asian) females tend to stay away from asian guys because asian guys usually date with-in their race. In effort to stay away from rejection, stay away from what they know(not really but what the think they know) will never happen ^^

I think a lot of asian guys won't pursue white women for various reasons, and people from both sides tend to avoid the unfamiliar. It takes special folks like us to break down those barriers haha. Well, I'm an American Filipino, and I haven't dated a white girl but SOME of them had crushes on me. However, I've noticed that these white girls who had crushes on me particulary only liked Asian culture and probably liked me BECAUSE I was asian. If someone was to date me, I would want a genuine interest not just because of my race. Also, I am currently talking to a Spanish girl right now, and since I am Filipino I can relate to her culture more. Maybe Asian guys should go for Spanish.

The truth is, there's nothing physically stopping Asian males from dating outside their race: only insecurities that exist in their minds.
I love Asian men but I wouldn't expect them to pick me because I'm not a pretty, petite little Asian girl, who wouldn't prefer that?

I come from Scotland but currently reside in New Zealand, and to date, I haven't seen any Asian guys with white women. I do however see a lot of white guys with Asian women.

I have the same problem though I am a caucasian female. For an American I am actually very shy when it comes to Asians because I like Aian men a lot and I don't know how to get their interest. Most Asian men in my city will only date Asian girls because their parents recently came over from overseas or they are only here for college/university. It is fairly frustrating since I have tried dating other races (i know this makes me sound racist) but they dont give me that chemistry.

To be honest with you I would jump at a chance to date an 'asian guy' (if he suited my intrests as well) thu I usually end up dating a hispanic male. :/ It's odd.
I think the anime influece (along with video games) cause a lot of caucasian males to be obsessed with asian females. Girls aren't all into that (1:2 ratio when it concerns males and females). I think white males tend to worship asian females too.

Im in Ontario, Canada and I can't say I have a simple answer for you. From what I've seen, many very culture-concious asian groups I have seen in schools exhibit very introverted behaviour, like speaking their language, immersing themselves into their work and stuff like that. If you want to get attention, and it doesnt matter what race you are, you should exhibit confidence and really put yourself out there. I have the opposite problem, I'm multi racial but most people think I am white, or puerto rican, I can never find an asian): I guess I am too ugly for them, thats why I commented on this video because I wanted to ask you, does it matter to you (personally) if the person is white or mulit racial? Or do you just prefere only white girls?

It doesn't matter to me what race the girl is and I have dated and been attracted to Asian girls before however it's just that I've found myself naturally preferring white girls. It's not a discrimatory thing, it's just what I prefer. It would be quite rare for me to be bowled over by an Asian girl.

And not all caucasian males are "educated and handsome". In fact, a lot of them are quite the opposite. @dvarblo lol, yeah I may sound bitter, my first love completely destroyed me and broke my heart...but that was a while ago...I was only trying to point out that there our nice guys that have alot going for them and they are from every kind of background that you can imagine. @dvarblo I wouldn't say Australians don't like Asians but as a nation, we're probably behind other developed countries in being more accepting of other cultures. We are still young as a nation though and we are trying. Things have definitely improved a lot in the last century when there was a White Australia policy in place.

However, we do accept anyone into the country, whether personally we accept them is a different matter but we have so many different cultures coming and living or just visiting that i am sure we will be more accepting soon. Ps... i am white & so far from a racist, i, like you, don't care what race the 'guy' in my case is, but i find myself preferring asian and hispanic guys :)

Well, if you are attracted to Caucasian women then hopefully you are approaching them regularly. I'm sure there's some WF who aren't attracted to AM but there's also WF who are. I agree in that I have seen more WMAF than AMWF couples but is that really because WF aren't interested in AM? I'm not sure it is. AM are afraid of rejection and then they stop approaching WF (that's how my AM friends are). If that's what you want, go after it! You'll learn a few things along the way and it'll happen

I don't really know why that is. I am a white woman who has always been more attracted to Asian men. However, i have had to deal with ridicule from people around me, when they discover that about me. I think there is a lot of prejudice, but i don't think people really know why. I think they just get the stereotype in their head, and laugh at it.

I find most white guys to come off as boorish and cocky, or lazy and dull.
I am absolutely repulsed at most "manly men" ...may parents find that a bit odd. Not to say I hate them, but I don't want to date them "boorish men" that is.

Although not to be racist, but a lot of people say Asian men tend to have those qualities, which Is why I feel more fondly towards them.
Although Asian men are not the only race I would date. I would date any race, as long as he had the qualities I am attracted to and we had mutual feelings between us.

I'm a white female (blond hair, green eyes, petite build), and I am very attracted to some Asian guys. I think that there are plenty of white girls who prefer Asians. Asian men need to be more confident and assertive (but still polite) in order to catch their attention and show them that stereotypes can be misleading.

That's a good question. Perhaps there are more expectations for male Asians (in terms of family). Now I'm caucasion and from the USA, and I personally think the Asian race is beautiful. However, I often hear other women talk of how they don't think there is a "hott asian", and it really urks me. I agree with you, I don't understand it! Well... for me it's that there aren't many asians living where I live, so it's hard to meet any. Also I personally feel a little intimidated by good looking asians because a lot of them seem to prefer asian girl... Or some of them feel that a caucasian girl will date them just because he is asian, not because of personality etc. (sounds pretty weird to me). Can't really say. I would date an asian guy though.

I do not think that white girls do not like asian guys, in fact I am a living prove that this is not true. Just like you I have nothing against any other race, but I am mostly attracted to asian males. I personally think that it's very frustrating because I can not find a guy that I like and he likes me. Asian guys just seem so out of reach- at least to me. I don't know how to answer your question, I can only say that white girls do like asian guys- a lot, but don't know how to approach them.
