I listen to the original El Manana when I want to be emotional and pensive - it's one of my favorite songs ever. I listen to this one when I'm in a lighter mood but still want to appreciate the magic of 2D and Damon Albarn, not to mention those lyrics!

I think that the instrumental version isn't as good, I always think that in some certain cases and songs that if you don't have the right vocals playing; it's like you're missing an instrument.

I HAVE noticed, that in this one his voice is distorted more than on my discography, when he sings on that the voice seems like it's not been laminated by some computer, listen to this and the album version and compare them for yourself.
