  • Even as a "boozer," Bogie was a far better actor than most so-called actors of our day.

  • Best actor ever. All of the current schleps are worthless in comparison, dawdling in shock cinema and love stories with no meat in them.

  • i will never stop drinking and smoking, thats the only reason i'm still here, how can people live without these thing, they're comin home after work every day smiling, but when they think about their boring lifes they get pissed, and depressiv, but standing up the next day and doing the same boring thing again and again,i'm living the life they wanna have, and i go on,if it costs me 40 years of my life,i can say i lived my life

  • You gotta throw in W.C. Fields with that drinking stuff! He should have been a packrat!

  • They don't make em' like Bogie anymore.....

  • this is so great! Thanks! to have partied with him, errol flynn and David Niven, oh man that would be awesome!

  • I TRAI ONE TIME , CHANGE THE JACK DANIELDS FOR SMIRNOFF, BIG MISTAKE....MY LIBER ALLMOST EXPLOTE. you must forgive my english cuzz i learn al afhganis embassy. USMC RULES.

  • I'M TO FUCKIN DRUNK TO SEND A NOTE,,,,... I NEED A HAND OF MI BEST PAL JACK (DANIEL'S) .

  • Bogart was the man. Casablanca is the greatest film ever

  • Richard Burton, another big time pisshead!.

  • And butt pirate.

  • Thank God these bad old days are gone. An obnoxious drunk is promoted as a hero by a bunch of macho wannabees who consider heavy drinking manly. Bogart was considered insufferable much of the time by those who didn't share his penchant for booze. All he ever did was complain about how shallow Hollywood was, yet he had no trouble taking the money and enjoying the spoils of his movie career. Yuck!

  • @Hunterunc loosen up have a drink right now, martini maybe!

  • one of the greatest drinkers of all time.

  • What fascinating footage! A complete professional when it came to his acting career, I've read that Bogie was a nice & mellow enough fellow when sober but that he could be a mean drunk who liked to needle people. But that's just one instance of a person being a beloved performer but a less than stellar individual. But aren't we all? None of us is perfect. All of our idols have clay feet in one way or another. Bogie liked to drink & smoke - often to excess; but he was a pro at his craft.

  • Ooooh, I like this version of the song!

  • When Bogart died he passed to Sinatra not only the liquor legacy but also his widow.

  • Thank you very for posting. Great man, iconic actor, legendary boozer. Alas, the time goes by. Nobody from today's actors could be compared with this great generation, with these Rat Pack buddies.

  • Jackie Gleason a famous drinker said drink for fun, not because you have a problem, good advise

  • frank sinatra was a fucking tosser

  • My all-time favorite actor... and should be yours, too.

    Yes, you.

  • I happen to prefer Orson Welles, another drunk, but as far as drinking goes I think Errol Flynn might be the candidate to vote for?

  • Bullshit, utter.

  • JUly the 3rd will be two yrs on the wagon. man I am thirsty

  • Pallie, another home run on this great Bogey tribute. Love your stuff. I'll drink to that!

  • Some people are just good at being drunk in life.

Not many, but just like in sports and politics, some people are just better at it than others.

  • Original leader of the Rat Pack, Humphrey Bogart was one of the greatest boozers in the history of spirits. He left his legendary liquor legacy to Frank Sinatra and company.

  • @JesseEgan were those really his last words?

  • Comment removed

  • @kimpunkrock , of course not. But he said those words when his illness was terminal and he was in terrible pain. But Bogie was a real man and he lived and died in style.

  • Bogart was the best of all time

  • Throwing plates and glasswear IN PUBLIC?! I knew about the first part I didn't know they did it in public.

    Great vid!

  • As a rule I don't like drunks, my only exception is Mr. Humphrey Bogart, the great love of my life. We still miss you Bogie, the magnificent actor and the wonderful man.

  • This is pretty good, but I'm no speed reader if you get my meaning.
