@billma12345 Probably when you kick your at an angle wher your feet actually come high neaer or above the surface and as you push forward you do an involuntary dolphin kick. Try swim slow and see if you can figure it out. Watch underwater videos of good breast stroke swimmers too and try think of what your doing as you swim. Hope this helps.
You simply can't compare phelps and Kitajima. Kitajima is the best breast stroker in the world. Phelps is the best butterfly stroker in the world. Phelps, yea he's 6'4", 7ft armspan, 12k calorie diet. Kitajima, 5'10" and works harder than anyone else. Thats all you need to succeed in any sport.
@GioTheFatty yer right in how you balanced it all out here in the description of the two swimmers.. so many people yell out "kiti is better than Phelps!" and don't think of the dynamics.. they are BOTH amazing swimmers..IMO i think phelps ALL AROUND is the better swimmer because he excels in all 4 strokes.. Kiti is WAY better in ONLY the breast, but he couldn't beat phelps in the fly or free.. and the 12k diet is a myth...in an interview phelps mentioned he's on 9 to 10k only during training :)

It's amazing that a 5'10" swimmer can produce world class times. Alexander Dale Oen and Hugues Dubosq both in their 6'3" or 6'4" frame cannot touch Kitajima. Kitajima is a real world class breastroker. He is the first Asian swimmer in history to break the 59s barrier in the 100m breastroke by clocking 58.91s. Amazing. Sugoi!!!!
