Actually he wouldn't have to power down on Shabbos. You're "allowed" to keep items on. The prohibition is against doing work and operating simple mechanisms such as turning on lights and the stove are considered to be work. The way around this is to simply leave those items on like the tv or the oven.

Why you compere or explain it anyway with south park.

South Park is a Cartoon with political jokes, to comperes whit other cartoon, like the Simpsons, Family Guy or Futurama. TBBT is a Comedy-Tv-Serie you coud compare maybe with Two and a half man, Scrubs or Malcom in the Middle. So i don't know if you just dislike the genre, think you are to cool for a series about nerds, just not smart enouth to get it or just an a33hole.
