These guys obviously know nothing about the Canadian system. There is no flood of Canadians seeking treatment in the US. Numerous studies have proven this. Sure, there are definitely some Canadians who head south for treatment for a variety of reasons, but compared to the overall population, it's less than a fraction of 1%. It's a complete fabrication for propaganda purposes. Don't get sick in Canada??? Please! Our life expectancies are higher than the US so suck on that!

I agree wholeheartedly with the need to promote more PCP physicians, as well as the view that Obama will cut costs by increased use of physician extenders.

Also very concerned about Baucus proposal. As I understand it, it would do away with private insurance by making it impossible to obtain in 5 years.
