actually its not the hardware... they were all using the google android os now....its invading all the major phone, htc, samsung and now on motorola...kinda direct hit for Microsoft windows mobile and a biggest treat for iphone OS... Google Android is the next big thing

i switched my iphone for a HTC tilt 2. I dont really mind, i just dont like ATT spotty coverage where im from, when im done with my contract ill probably go to verizon and pick up the next big thing that comes out next year

@xblackjeepx except for the droid. its already took down the iphone. iphone has alot of apps. and thats about where it ends with them. droid does everything and also has a good selection of apps. and its open source so u can just download apps from web sites.

I can't stand the holy wars between phone platforms, its enough having to deal with mac vs pc. iPhone is ahead of Android in some ways, but androids catching up fast and has its advantages. The fact that the droid is going to be a great device, does not take away from the advantage iphone has in multimedia integration. Competition between iPhone and Android is only going to make the mobile devices better. Plus, they're both on the same page. Its all about the web.

omg. everyone who thinks this phone sucks is considered legally retarded in my eyes. the droid has a 5 mp auto focus LED flash camera, the fastest processer out there, the newest android 2.0, it is basically the same height nd width of the iphone, 16 GB stock memory w/ expandable SD memory slot, can do everything the iphone can, nd has the biggest nd most high res screen out of any phone. it's battery life also shits on any other phone (including the iphone)

Well N95 did sell 19 million and it was THE super highend phone in Europe and Asia in 2007-2008. There's still so many people using the first N95-1 here in Germany.

Actually i remember reading that in 2007 Q3 30% of Nokias 2.2$ billion profits where just from N95.

Same goes for 5800 that have sold +8 million in 1/2 year.

This whole killer thing is pointless, but i'm in the endge of leaving N900 for this.

the ad doesnt say much. i mean how many other phones out there have a "real keyboard".? it honestly doesnt look that intriguing to me. the iphone looks way better and has an extremely well responsive touch screen. i just dont want this to be another huge "iphone killer" failure like every other phone. so far the best thing about this phone is that its on the verizon network. Which says alot about the network but not much about the phone.

They need to: add some color, get rid of the ugly branding on the front, and round the edges a LOT more... maybe then it won't be so ugly.

Besides that, when will someone release a true hand-held PC phone? Maybe I'm rushing it a bit, but I'd love to have a phone that's 100% customizable like a PC, the ability to create folders/directories, download anything to specific directories, have a taskbar at the bottom or top that shows open processes, etc etc....

I think the whole design is terrible looking looks old.. The interface looks ugly as well. The iphone's interface looks up to date and nice this looks out of date kinda like the icons on the first OS for the first blackberry very out of date looking. They could have designed this device much better. Im sure it prolly works really well but the whole design is what makes me not even want to have this phone.
