Cmon in the DBZ universe they fight demon kings and beat them rather easily the same for the kyubi as well. Also Goku would sense any change in Itachi's spiritual energy and warp out of the way or attack before he has a chance no need to use ssj just kaioken would be sufficient.

Why do ppl say that Naruto would win? really, if goku was even at full power by himself, he would rape naruto, doesn't matter what tail he's in.
