Nice! a lot of our libraries are closed because of a strike ... there's also a garbage strike and the city is starting to STINK! lucky i'm just outside in the suburbs ... they are FILLING parks with garbage everywhere ... literally basketball courts filled higher then the nets with bags and bags of garbage. It's crazy the organized mafia unions can become and hold an entire city hostage!

lol no! our Mayor is probably going to get fired but there are tons of political schenanigans going on behind the scenes and lots of curruption bubbling to the surface. + Toronto is pretty much bankrupt so this is going to get really messy! The funny thing is that we havn't really had a hot streak yet ... this stuffs been festering for like 2 weeks ... now imagine once the sun REALLY starts cooking ... I went to the doctors downtown today and oh my God the piles of garbage ... and the smells ugh
That is a beautiful library. I love libraries that are open and have a lot of windows. We actually go on trips to see different libraries. My wife has a master's in library science - and it really interests her - I go for the ride - but still like some of these libraries.
Wish out town's library was as beautiful - though to their credit they have a very wide range of books.
It IS beautiful. I usually go to the small neighborhood ones, and was floored at how great this is. My other favorite one is where I used to live in Huntington Beach. That's another good one but because I don't drive the freeways, it's hard for me to get there. And unlike you, who will go along with your wife for the ride, that doesn't happen often here. Must be cuz the "correct coast" people do the correct thing : )

Well one of the main reasons I go along is because Jane doesn't drive - period. So by default, that leaves me :)
But I do enjoy our library outings - just don't tell her. I have to gripe, grumble and put on a good show of it. It's what husbands do.
