He is doing great out there. You should be proud of him . Not too many guys his age are doing anything even close to that....your are right ...2 extremees..Anthony and your Gramps....the one thing they have in common...is they both love to ride....its in the blood...."you cant put it in and you can't take it out"
actually, he was a pro when he was younger, he started racing back in the 60's on flat track, he has won California titles back in the day then went to motocross and raced expert class..he is one of the pioneers for us all! Cool to have a grampa that did that.
great dude, is very good to see your grand still on the bike!!incredible let me say!...this is making me crazy to go back on tracks!..i am 47 and i stop to ride at 35 cuz the job...please post a video with an interview of your grand it could be very good for all the bikers!!
Why don't you do a search on duane spence...back in 1999 he was racing in the +60 class (only because they didn't have a +70 class). There are actually quite a few +70 racers now, mostly racing vintage motocross races. I am 41 now and I quit racing a few years ago but my uncle and grandpa still do it.
Gramps started racing sometime in the 60's and has been going ever since, racing TT's, flat track and then motocross. He is fast on the track but slow walking...lol
Ok, I am tired of being called a liar. Just type in "Duane Spence number 15 motocross" in a google search and you will find races and dates, etc. Usually he races in either +50 or +60 for competition although there is a +70class that either has no entries or 1 entry. Look up the final results for AHRMA Speed and Sport MX National in Colorado Springs CO, Aztec Family Raceway on 29 July 1999. Gramps finished #2 in the +60 class.
Good job for a 75 year old. Most people on this planet of any age cant ride around a motocross like that. Better yet most people on this planet cant even ride a dirtbike lmfao.
Actually he was at the time this video was taken, he has been racing for 40 years. Thanks for being so rude. This is why I prefer to be around my Gramps and older people in general.
Yoo I'm sorry yo I know how u feel my beat friend died Sunday but he was only 13 and ur grampa is like my grandpa

He lived to ride ever since I could remember. When he wasn't riding or racing he was working on his bikes.
