The Red Eared Slider didn't lay the eggs in the end of the video. That's a different kind of baby turtle. And also no they don't take care of any babies. They just lay them and go.

i raised 4 turtles. There were 9 but 5 passed away. The reason we hatched them is because the mom turtle died shortly after. The 5 that "died" were duds so i guess it was ok. The 4 Turtles r now huge and awesome! we let them go after 5 weeeks

1. That IS a turtle.

2. I see that you want to go precise with classification and said that it's a tortoise, but you are still wrong since that isn't a tortoise, a correct term would be terrapin or pond turtle, or just turtle. The terrapin in the video is a red ear slider, and is not a tortoise.
