@norsunny im also brazilian and ive seen both, garrincha was better and by no means was santos a small team it had the best players in brazil along with pele. Most of them made it to the national team at some point, it had if i remember correctly the best offensive of south america it had pepe coutinho pele zito gilmar, botafogo was small, not santos...they won a lot even without pele sometimes.

What happens is that people in Rio de Janeiro usually think Garrincha was better, because he played almost his entire career there, while Pelé played in Santos. Botafogo's supporters are unanimous considering Garrincha a better player, but I can say for sure to you that in Brazil, generally saying, Pelé is considered greater.
