this actually wasnt that bad of a flick...but one thing i find with dr.jekyll and mr.hyde adaptions on film is that they add a relationship factor,which is hardly the case in the book...the book is much more focused on the transformation,and in brutal ways.

@eeriecastle Well, the book was more of a bizarre mystery focused on the question of "Who is this Hyde and what's his connection to Jekyll". The movies play more with the horror aspect. In many ways, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the ultimate spoiled mystery. Everyone knows the answer to the point no one knows it was supposed to be a surprise.
