I don't know what's everyone talking about. I liked your version a lot actually.

The only think I didn't entirely like was the fact that sometimes at the end of certain sentences you wouldn't entire pronounce/reach the note.

But other than that it's a great cover.

Great effort but the vocals can be a bit "pitchy" and it kind of takes away from an overall great arrangement. There are times when it's spot on and other times where I'm grinding my teeth.

You do well trying to sound like Jon. I don't know if that is your natural voice or if you are trying a bit harder to emulate Jon's voice. Yet, if you are changing your voice, that might be where the pitch issuses come in.

Still, way to come up with your own instrumental take on it! Keep at it, man!

Also, why is there so much gain on every instrument and vocal it makes it sound way too dirty and and degrades the quality of the recording. Try getting a master limiter for your recording program too, it will def help man!

You don't understand my comment, this is too good of a song and band to really cover such a great song such as this, he is off pitch in this like every 5 notes and it is really hard for me to listen to it, I mean musically sure it is ok. What are you talking about? The good songs ARE the ones that you are supposed to cover. There is no song that is TOO good to be covered? Are you kidding me? He's not singing off tune. Listen to his voice, he's amazing. Do you really think he wouldn't realize that? He's changing the song, the whole point of a cover is to create your own version of the song, not sing it note by note and create a copy of it...and I agree with wayne I'd like to see you post a cover.

I'm all for peace and love. And I love the effort put into the cover. It has high production quality, but really...the vocals are consistently flat. Evan is right. You do have an interesting and pleasing tone to your voice. That really is more than half the battle. Keep working and I'm sure you'll get it where it should be.

This is terrible, not trying to discourage you and your music but just make your own stuff and please don't ruin a great song by a great band. The guitar sounds good in the recording and that is the only good thing I have to say.
