Larry Miller is one of the best comics around ironically because he has done a little comedy every 5 years or so. unlike modern comedians today who are all over the place with the internet, concerts, and movies.
Actually, this bit is almost word-for-word identical to a Carlin bit about aging. I have to believe Miller got Carlin's permission to use it or something. I like Miller too much to believe he blatantly stole a famous bit from a well-known comedian. I don't think he needs to do that, and I can't imagine him being that foolish.
I do remember seeing Larry Miller do this (on TV) as part of his standup a while back. If I remember, he sort of swung his arm during the "Become 21, Turn 30, Pushing 40..." part, a la Pete Townsend's windmill-guitar style. I've always thought Larry Miller was a very funny & clever comedian.
[There's an e-mail circulating which attributes this skit to George Carlin (R.I.P.), but I knew it didn't sound quite like him.] I was glad to find Larry Miller's video. He's a funny guy and deserves recognition for HIS work.
@malloys684 Thanks for finding this. I'm tired of the circulating power point presentations, especially the ones attributed to George Carlin. People, please don't circulate these things, they are made to fish for your e-mails to create lists to send you more spam!

Miller didn't steal the routine or get permission- he wrote it.
The stuff circulating on the internet is incorrectly attributed to George Carlin.

@Calabrio76
Quite true. I recall Larry Miller doing this while he still had some hair left.

Carlin must've loved this routine! But LM's delivery is better, IMHO--so easy and natural.
Too bad we can't hear the laughter. But thanks!

Larry makes people laugh and he doesn't go for the cheap laugh with four letter words. I wish Larry would do more standup. He truly is a funny man.
