Losing a pet sucks, but remember them for who they were. Each of our dogs had a different personality. Believe me it will feel like your heart was ripped out at first, but you will get another dog and you will learn to love it like you loved the last.

His hips started getting shaky two year ago and had gotten to the point where he was dragging himself when he would get up. He could no longer hold his pee and poo.
We got him a diaper to wear but only for a few days. I am so sad and my heart hurts now that I watched him go.
My house is quiet as I sit here at the computer no longer hearing his rapid panting.
He was 13 years old named Unja. Loyal and protective to the end.

I have a dog named Shouk, he fell into our lives when we find him in the street. Was hit some time later and got a fracture in the spine that prevented him to move the legs to bring. He is happy, healthy and has many friends! He USA until the cart for him to walk again! I feel very loved by its Rico, see more, he at least did not suffer what my dog has, always remember their good times and always think about it!
you have golden and i suspect he had lymph cancer just like my dog does now she has 1 month to live and she is 3 years old so i know what you went through

I fell so sorry for you. When I was a young teenager my Dad sold my dog along with her 5 two week old puppies. I never saw her again. I still cry for her and that was 44 years ago. Not knowing what or where she went is the worst feeling.

I'm sorry. My dog lived untill 13 would of lived longer, but a dog food gave her liver failure... Making me cry now.
