How has the stock trans held up to the added power of the rotax? id like to do somthing like that after my stock engine kicks the bucket. the trans is the only thing i worry about. it sucks that parts are getting harder to find for these. Honda never should have quit making them. They are much more fun than a 4wheeler anyday :)
Great build.... I put a skidoo rotax 500 motor on a Baja Dune 150 frame.. and it is crazy fast!! but not so much off the gun... What is the gear ratio in your reduction box?? right now I'm running 4.7 to 1 ... which is closer to what they run in the formula 500 track races.(with my same engine) but I really want it to be more set for acceleration... so, if you could please help, . Whats the tooth count on your gears?? any help would be awesome. that way i'm not guessing. thanks.
