i want this song in the set list again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no more notorious no more hungrly like the wolf when this song is way better !! awesome bass line !!
Andy discusses at length the impact of having quality producers etc around the band for their early albums as being fundamental in their development and success, in his book "Wild Boys". It's a must-read for any serious fan. After reading it I appreciate even more the guys' skills and talent. It's a big "up yours" to all the pop pretenders of the current day. And they play their own instruments. They still rock.
@Caz1310 Thanks for your comments but i already appreciate the band with out any book , i already did that following this band carrer all this years , 29 years being a duranie , even in the point when the press the label and so so many "fans" gave up on them lots of people like me were supporting the band and appreciating their awesome music ,we never gave up on them like Andy did , my 2 favorites albums are First and Medazzaland , thanks for your comment
@xmysteryz sorry but that is a really stupid comment , he don't have those millions that you are saying he have and also we care more about the quality of the music than some hair , this is the sing of time ...superficiality, that is why people like kardashians and al the other stupid people is on tv all the time , brainless people have no taste ,buy and like all what tv and big adds say is cool , so sad so sad really
@xmysteryz what are you smoking?? Even without those transplants he is still finer than 99% of the guys out there - at ANY age - and he's a kickass bassist to boot.

@xmysteryz He has way more hair than my dad had at 21 lol, weird nowadays how ppl expect ppl in 50's to have the same hair as when they were 20. Hell all my Uncles had the typical male patern baldness lol, but as a fan of Duran Duran they could be bald and i would still love their music!! They can still give the new bands a run for their money, sound as good now as they ever did :) and i think they still loo hot too! :D
I think it was very big of John Taylor to admit that his playing needed to be "pushed" in the studio and he had to learn these "dubbed" bass skills for live playing....
God Bless him, he looks scared to death, poor man. It's no wonder he fancied a change.I think most people would in his place. But i still think he's one of the best drummers, then and now.

Nick Rhodes, excellent keybroads, but he is so boring!

John's bass-playing from 0:22 to 1:12 is brilliant - no mixing-studio trickery needed there!

with the millions of dollars (or pounds) that john taylor has, why doesnt he get hair transplants?? he definitely needs it big time!

God, I used to lust after John as teenager!! However, what a band of "interesting individuals!" Love this video, so insightful.

You can learn John's lines with Zumaz, a YT user. Go see him, I've taken a lot of John from him.
Don't you hate that Peavey Cirrus sound? I prefer his classic Aria Pro II SB1000.
