I love Severn's energy and heart for this beautiful planet. We should all embrace this kind of energy for taking action to make changes in our mindset and behavior with regards to the environment. That being said, I would encourage Ms. Cullis-Suzuki to examine research by David Wilcock in his groundbreaking book The Source Field Investigations. As David proves, and others in his field support, climate change is taking place on each planet of our solar system right now. It is not because of us.

This is my personal opinion. The whole global warming thing is a scam to have a carbon tax as well as other control by the corps. Regardless, we are poisoning our water, air and soil which needs to end. We need to stop polluting our home by changing our lifestyle.
Presently we are living in a fascist state which means corporatism and it is nothing new. Our presidents and prime ministers are puppets to the oligarchy and the sooner we see things as they are, the sooner we can change things.

1) 0:04 "We would allow animals to go extinct" --- species go extinct on their own. By interefering with this, we put the planet further out of balance.
2) 0:16 "My first protest when I was 6" --- never trust a cause embedded in childhood, much like religious indoctrination.
3) 0:48 "We are undergoing the planet's 6th mass extinction"...yes, they do happen on their own.

No, but to compare one animal to another is futile, humans are NOT like every other animal the way you explain, and as I said, there is not expiration date, no species do end, and IF ours is to drive every other until our own into extinction OH WELL, that just might something just as natural for our big brain to do.
The planet WILL REPAIR itself, it ALWAYS has it always will HUMANS have much less impact than you you think, just because OUR world ends doesn't mean it shouldn't.

It's not society/government/state that needs to solve this problem, it exactly there being a state/government that there is a problem. It's the State that enslaved us out of our human right. The state gave us the illusion that they are the ones that gives us rights. What happens to the environment is a symptom of this. We lost touch with our selves and with earth. To save earth we have to enlighten ourselves out of statism and become free again. Only then the earth can be saved.

@AtodaO that may be because i live and grew up in germany, so my writing isn´t the best , sorry. some things do vanish from earth without human implication, but most are killed by humans and it´s wrong to say that it´s natural. i´m not talking about micro organisms or some kind of bacteria, i´m talking about fish, bees, mammals etc.. and most of them have been driven to the very edge of extinction because of humans.

but it's mostly our fault that most the extinction are cause by dumping toxics in to oceans, lake, rivers, greenhouses, and deforestation. that's why we have more and more disasters such as the australian flood, earthquakes causes by drilling into the ocean floor for more fossil gas fuels, hurricanes, and little by little the earth will be like a desert or a planet like Venus.
