1. I believe the SegWay computer is designed to limit the speed to 12.5mph or so. I also believe the SW also is designed check all it's parameters 1oo times per SEC.

2. When riding a SW's down hill I have noticed that gravity can easily accelerate the vehicle faster than the devices computer can react.

3. When the SW's speed limit is reached, the SW is designed to reverse the flow of electrons to the two motors in order to slow the vehicle down/keep it with it's design limits. CONTINUED
