im pretty sure its an instrumental recording of a song by the concretes called "grey days." it would make since cuz their song "say something new" was on target commercials in 2004.

very good guess but i checked and "grey days" is much more stripped down. i still think it's some indie-ish band, because target generally doesn't use self produced music... back to searching i guess...
