I never liked Voyager. Janeway seemed barely competent and overly aggressive, the acting was largely wooden and uninspired (other than Russ and Picardo), the characters were generic and lifeless, the scripts were full of technobabble and character development which at times barely qualified as such, and of course, Neelix. Neelix is a shithead. God, I hate Neelix!
I mean, the show just wasn't that good. There were good episodes, sure. But to me the show was just kind of.... there. I wanted to like Voyager. I really did. And I tried. Oh, did I try. I just could not do it. I tried watching many times, but after the show was over, I was always like "Okay... And I'm supposed to care about these people, why again?"
Voyager started when I was 11 and Be'Lanna was instantly my favorite character. I found her relatable in so many ways, then and now. I loved the 'ship between Tom and Be'Lanna. And Voyager was my favorite of all the Treks!
I often thought about if all the guys who played alien humans, ever had sex with their stuff on. I hope they did it all, it is such a mind-expanding thing, when you know that you can totally live it out, expand your mind and horizon. And I do not mean those fan guys who do that, but the ST actors who actually "are Klingons, Vulkans, Androids, Cardassians" and so on. I think for them it could be or is extremely exicting, especially when you know about all those alien mating rituals and their fun.
Lemme tell ya, the greatest show ever made was voyager, when they got home I cried my eyes out. Cause I was there from the very first show. It was fan damn tastic!!! We love you voyager crew!!!
This show has really grown on me over the years. Its silliness is no different from that of any other trek show but some of the human moments are marvellous. Some great performances hiding in the seven years. :)
absolutely. I watched it as a kid, but understandably couldn't really understand everything or even appreciate it truly...but these days I jus tlove it, for more than just trek, those people in the show, they are great, fantastic acting skills and so much emotion...it's just great and I hate it that people keep making fun of trekkers. Well, they've obviously never bothered to watch for more than 5 minutes or so...

Faces was an awesome episode. One of the best.

Voyager was the best Star Trek show, imo. Especially after the introduction of 7 of 9.

"Faces"..hands down one of the best episodes ever. B'lana was my favorite character. Strong..brillaint and oh so flawed.

I love this woman. Have ever since that episode when she trumped Terry (might have that name wrong) and became Chief Engineer.

I swear I was the only person who thought Belanna was much hotter with the Klingon ridges.
I now know I'm not alone.

I don't know why, but, to me, Roxann Dawson is way more attractive when she's in her B'Elanna Torres makeup and hair.

tbh roxann looks better with her klingon ridges on her forehead

She's way hot as human in "Faces".

okay, gotta say it but is it just me or does Roxxy look cuter as with those ridges on her, looking half klingon/human than she does O.O.C

Yup!

@LordReserei Because every male Trekkie, deep down, wants to do a Klingon.

@megagrey Not just male trekkies that have a thing for hot klingon women ;)

@JaneTheWay the folks that can't watch star trek for more than 5 minutes probably just aren't bright enough to keep up.

@pisces2099 Really, the most underrated aspect of Voyager. Great post.
