The actual poem is adapted from an Anglo-Saxon poem called the wanderer. It was a battle lament. "Where the giver of treasure, where the horse and rider, where the seat at feasts, alas maille clad warrior, alas bright cup, alas proud prince they are gone under nights helm as if they had not been" for more information watch a great drama called '1066 battle for middle earth' using us extras and those for Norman and viking armies it shows the events that caused englands death. great video!
@Yesica1993 Many thanks Yesica! The final version can be downloaded free at the website listed in more info section. The CD comes out September 22, 2010.
@LonelyMountainBand I have many friends who are huge LOTR fans, so I have passed the video along!
Best of luck to you all. I look forward to the album. It's so nice to find something ahead of time, instead of my usual habit of discovering things way after everyone else has discovered them!
hey! found this quite by accident and me and my brother are pretty impressed! and we could chant along with the lyrics! haha! keep it up! you should get the people making the Hobbit into a movie to put you on the soundtrack! bet they would!
