i really should have this kind of surgery... i just don't have the funds for it... i guess i'm better off dead if i'll never have a chance to undergo this same process... i just can't live a normal life having this f***ed up face... wish someone out there can be my sponsor... please do send me a message if you can help me change my life... i'm desperate... :|

I'm sorry to hear about your grim outlook..I had my surgery performed by Dale Bloomquist out of Seattle and paid $7200. He did an amazing job and my insurance didn't cover anything. If you just save a little each month, you can make it happen. It all comes down to how bad you want it and what you spend your money on. Good luck!

My wife has the same issue and difficulty chewing her food too. She is 29 now. Does anyone know if there is a way to have insurance cover this? I have not investigated this yet as I want to be better informed. Please help!

The reason my parents were able to get our insurance to cover my surgery was because I hit my chin on the ice a couple years back, which could have stunted the growth on my jaws and caused me to require the surgery. If your wife has always had this problem (i.e. she was born with it) then I'm not sure what you can do.

I've had this surgery, too. I actually had lower jaw surgery.... it grew back. Not completely, but enough to have to do the surgery again. Now, They're saying that I have to do upper and lower jaw surgery. Fun.

hey. i just had exactly the same surgery. im also from fort lauderdale. whos ur surgeon? if its rimer ur in luck. he did mine last week and it couldnt be better. the guys the best around. even if i got the wrong doc message me with any questions u have
