APBT are very durable and do have a high pain tolerance and yes i do understand the concern as also agree it would probably be a better idea to do this in water, there is no way this dog learned how to do this in one run or overnoght so the Dog must have a good sense of what its doing and the owner who must have put countless hours into turning his dog into such an amazing jump must cae 4 his dog. just my personal opinion

ok first of all, sorry if your dog is injured while doing this but it's the risk you take just like jumping in any type of sport? it's sand, you tell me what else you could use,pluse it's a jumping contest. i've done this for years never had a problem. The dog learns how to put it's feet out to soften the blow then let thier legs fall as they slid to a stop. it's great exercise and fun for the dog. so don't get you panties in a twist.
