The tattoo he wears proudly says "Due'le Quartz", and he misses them just as much as you probably do. The mere fact that he wears those piercings and tattoos are the reasons why, because he said he'd carry it all if that was necessary. So Miyabi going solo promoted this band as well. And the depth of Miyavi's lyrics are expressive, and he's no longer "owned" as he stated by a band. His guitar skills improved, and he found his style.

Oh, but you must be ignorant, either that or arrogant. Try making music for the hundred thousands then. It's not easy, because you're gonna lose, and you're gonna gain. What you claim to be terrible is better for others. It inspired me, and gave me confidence just as it did others. Have you ever even looked at the depth of the lyrics he writes? Sure they're no longer grim like in Due, but seriously. If Miyabi didn't go solo, I wouldn't have learned about this band.

found out about this band today through one of the vids on my suggestion list...i recognise miyavi, or miyabi as he was called here i think, but i am loving this band as a whole. the singer has an amazing voice and the bassist gives a strong, supportive and fascinating line. as for the drummer...since i am one myself i am a little picky about the ones i like, this drummer sattisfied me. he had plenty of power and drive and when he was able to break away from what i call the basics he was amazing

And actually, Miyavi was the chief songwriter, and composer of this band, so really it was him making the band sound in such a way. Pre-Miyavizm was when he was still in his depressed funk, and then he started getting color.
