Thought there was another vid done last year talking to everyone who was at HDT at the time of the polariser but I can't find it. When you look at how AMG have been taken over by Mercedes Benz it is sad that back in 1986 Brock had to head off on such a tangent

As much as I Love Peter Brock, I cannot deny that this act of sheer self worship - he has hurt more people in a way he can never comprehend. There were plenty of Warnings given to Him to drop the Polarizer as it was a total farce...from within His own team of Mechanics and Engineers. Not only did Peter Brock ignore these guys, he also alienated those mechanics closest to Him - who only had the interests of Peter Brock and HDT at heart.

As far as I can tell, Brock made the mistake of turning his back on the people who helped him get where he was and started listening only to his deffacto partner and his chiropractor and their "spirit guides". The result was he went from building some of Australia's hottest cars to doing predelivery on some Russian sh#tboxes in the space of about three or four years.

In the book, "Peter Brock" How Good Is This? By Wayne Webster they go into depth about the Polarizer. It is a great book, all about from him as a child to his final days.

Using the windscreen sticker as an aerial it was supposed to draw "Orgone" enrgy into the car and cause all the molecules of the car to become aligned. Claims were made for being able to run at lower tyre pressures, better handling etc etc.

In the meantime however - Brock was a Ford man, racing Sierras in Group.A (Falcon in Auscar), and through his Austech business, modifying Falcons, Fairlanes and Mavericks!

its a stupid reason that general motors holden chose to seperate from brock and HDT, because brocky wouldn't put anything in his cars that doesn't work, i reckon it did work, otherwise he wouldn't have put it in the car, holden just didn't understand how an energey polariser worked, but brock did, thats a lesson that holden should have learned, but the message didn't get through their thick fucken heads.

Looks like Calder mid'80's - they ran a class part sport sedan part sports cars (thundersports??), that's the Terry Hook Lola, also Keith Carling's RX7, I can see Des Wall's Torana, JR in the Bimmer, I think there's also Rusty French in one of the awesome Porsche 935 Kremer... Awesome times, remember them well as a kid..
