I thought the CCA rating was twice the maximum sustainable 15 second load at approximately 10.0 V, (adjusted for battery temperature), of a fully charged battery. This battery was not apparently fully charged at the start of the test so with the Voltage being less than 10.0 at 1/2 the rated CCA, this test did not show whether the battery was or was not good. Several battery manufacturers consider a battery acceptable under warranty if passes the 15 second ~10 V test at 80% of 1/2 CCA rating.
