Needless to say it was the stupidest thing he could have done, because most of the new talent don't even hold a candle to guys like Hall, Nash, and Hogan!

@DrmCom2003 I couldn't agree more, he did the same with ECW. He brung it back for WWE guys to win the title over and over and then he killed it. They still had HBK, X-Pac,&  Big Show. They could've turned Hogan back into a heel. It would've been awesome. But Vince axed the nWo after about six or seven months. Sucks.

@SlasherLink119 Adding to my comment, I honestly have no problem with how this angle went...People always get their hopes obscenely high when something big like nWo becomes involved in a new storyline...I personally felt it was a good storyline to pass the torch from one generation to the next and a good storyline finish to the era...I will admit, though, I enjoyed nWo's antics in WCW much more than WWE...

@SlasherLink119 it's the idea I despise, that older is always better...I grew up with the Attitude era as well, but I don't let it keep me from appreciating the growing talent...If people would think back and remember, WWE was always about establishing upcoming superstars, whereas WCW flopped because it eventually went to favor the already established superstars to the point of there being no competitors who weren't already established, and the ones who were becoming established, losing it...

@SlasherLink119 Very true, but I don't agree with the "passing the torch" compliment, they didn't have the time to pass the torch, because the angle was over by the time they turned Hogan face at WrestleMania 18, and while it is true that X Pac, Hall, and Nash had their injuries and their vices, Vince pretty much killed the angle before it started! My point is you don't spend almost two months promoting megastars like Hogan Hall and Nash the way he did, and then destroy the angle in a month!
