when i make this , i find that my final product really doesnt last long. i wear the oil and it smells for maybe 15 mins and then thats it! anyone else having this issues or know what's causing it ? :( when i make it with alcohol instead it actually lasts much longer

I always have to chug me about half a bottle of Everclear before I start mixing my oils for my cologne. Its the only way to go.

apart from selecting your base, heart, top notes, how does it differ in the resulting perfume? I mean are certain scents supposed to be base notes ect.?

Its fustrating because most people buy perfume based on the "top notes" wich evaporates very fast and you end up that all perfumes smell the same after some time because they use the same base oils (castor and stuff like that ..) for making them.

I didn't mention it in any of the videos but it is important to research the oils you plan to use. For example you would NOT want to put cinnamon essential oil because it could burn your skin, but a cinnamon fragrance oil would be fine. Enjoy!

No, it will have more of a sharpness to it than an oil based perfume, but the alcohol smell goes away and you just smell the essences.
