I like both versions. Celine has an unimpeachable level of perfect when she sings, but Kelly just isn't like that. She doesn't sing anything the same way twice and she takes risks, I like that too.

Celine and Kelly are both two different types of singers. When the original artist makes a song a hit, it is hard..very hard for another artist to do a better version. Bottom line it doesn't happen. Before you bash Kelly, Celine tried to take on AC DC song which she totally killed. KC can sing almost any genre of music and she did this song justice, even if it wasn't as good as Celine!!

Yes Celine is a singing shark but I can't stand watching her sing and she doesn't make me cry...note perfection doesn't always tell the best vocal story thru song. Nah... it's ok but does not suit Kelly's style. No emotion in the beginning at all and I'm not feeling it. Kelly is a rock singer through and through. Celine does this amazingly well and with the required emotion. Kelly knocked it out like she was manufacturing a car on a production line. Her face was without emotion or passion. Sorry.

Well, I have to say I really don't know much about Celine Dion but she is one of the greatest singer ever. And because of this fact I know I will be murdered when I now say that I love Kellys cover of this song much more than the original and that I think it's even better - although I know Kelly probably can't reach Celine.

Not throwing stones, however, you are wrong. I LOVE Kelly, I love Celine. Celine first did this when she went to home to do a concert and it was seen on the Disney Channel. I recorded it and now have the DVD. Celine's voice is so clear and beautiful, it was 1995. You should check it out!

I thought the song was perfect!!!!! She sung it very well.....if anything, I would comment on her singing the actual song. Her range is nowhere close to Celines, yet the judges didn't comment on that. Instead, they say that the song is a bad choice. That's just wrong.

Why does one (Leona or Kelly) have to be bashed? They're different people, different singers, from different continents. They both can sing and have gotten massive compliments in the industry. A compliment for Kelly doesn't take away from Leona and vice versa. Just enjoy both or listen to who you like and leave it at that. It gets so old seeing this on YouTube. I was there and on the home video at the radio station. Kelly had laryngitis that week. I was worried she wouldn't be able to sing as strong as she did. She is the sweetest person ever with the most amazing voice.
She has a great voice but she hasn't the same passion in her voice as Celine Dion as. When Celine song this, she song it with feelings and heart, not just her voice quality.

Nah... it's ok but does not suit Kelly's style. No emotion in the beginning at all and I'm not feeling it. Kelly is a rock singer through and through. Celine does this amazingly well and with the required emotion. Kelly knocked it out like she was manufacturing a car on a production line. Her face was without emotion or passion. Sorry.

Well, I have to say I really don't know much about Celine Dion but she is one of the greatest singer ever. And because of this fact I know I will be murdered when I now say that I love Kellys cover of this song much more than the original and that I think it's even better - although I know Kelly probably can't reach Celine.

Not throwing stones, however, you are wrong. I LOVE Kelly, I love Celine. Celine first did this when she went to home to do a concert and it was seen on the Disney Channel. I recorded it and now have the DVD. Celine's voice is so clear and beautiful, it was 1995. You should check it out!

Randy is so right, she can sing anything. But I don't think this was her song. I love how Simon is so honest, that made me laugh. Don't get me wrong, I'm a true Kelly fan, but this wasn't the song that really showcased all the raw talent she has! I thought the song was perfect!!!!! She sung it very well.....if anything, I would comment on her singing the actual song. Her range is nowhere close to Celines, yet the judges didn't comment on that. Instead, they say that the song is a bad choice. That's just wrong.

Why does one (Leona or Kelly) have to be bashed? They're different people, different singers, from different continents. They both can sing and have gotten massive compliments in the industry. A compliment for Kelly doesn't take away from Leona and vice versa. Just enjoy both or listen to who you like and leave it at that. It gets so old seeing this on YouTube.
