Excellent video. I love the start, just like Lemans movie. Silent with a focus on drivers and the lights. I also like how you changed the sound when the camera shifted to another car.
The whole idea was to have some fun and film the little cars just like the real ones . As you can see, we had a grand time. More to come, maybe Modern Formula 1 next.
Thank you for the note. I'm curious how you found my video. Did you find it while on youtube or did you find it after reading about it from a slot racing site? And if so, which site?
I always wanted to make a video where you got down on the track level. I was a big fan of the Le Mans film and I work on movie sets. So I shot it like you would shoot a movie but small... But the coolest thing was that I got a note from Vic Elford who drove the white 917 Longtail Porsche in the actual race. He loved my little video. That was great. It doesn't get any better than that. Thanks for your note.
We were using Ninco 80511 tires, sanded the tires down and rounded the edges. Our club does not use magnets. I enlisted members from my club who were good drivers who knew how to concentrate and stay on camera. I made a camera car platform from a Carrera 1/24scale chasis to hold the video camera and we were racing.

Xxporsche917kxX,
We are working on a sequel. Spread the word. I think Ferrari should defend their honor.

You made a good job with this video. Exiting start as original film by Lee Katzin.
