he is using a modular... it seems to be doepfer based... as well he uses some EMS and MFB... I suppose he has more brands...but it seems to be basically a doepfer, although you can do this with any modular system... i mostly use doepfer and mfb, and i can do whatever i want
lol "oh joyous fun" indeed... these videos were a LOT more fun than I was expecting. ZooG is a lot more fun than I was expecting. Looks so serious in the promo shots!
so if i wanted to use my doepfer to process my recordings i just need to midi connect my computer to my cv midi interface in my modular?¿ is it as easy as that? the same with my microkorg?¿? i dont need any other machine or programm or anything? please, someone answer if you know. thanks.
What wouldve been totally freakin awesome, is if those random blips were made with a randomizer module in Reaktor, or some sort of hardware module (im not too good with them)
OMG. ZooG is amazing. I have Protools LE and a midi synth, but I still don't know how to use a 10th of their functions. This is a kick in the ass! Thanks ZooG! Cool to see all the wires and no digital plug ins. Cool gear collection and demo of their uses. You should make a full-length how to video!
Vendeath:the intro and outro...I asked the same thing, but on the krankhaus forum....
Here is what Zoog said:
"we use 2 tracks from the new album in the BLIPVERTS.
The intro and outro are based on a track from the new album.
the short 3 second breaks between the segments (with text over them) is based on another song.... It's the most "cyber-pop" track ever...we sing harmonies and it is just so cool and cynical."
Damn, this was an awesome blipvert! Always wanted to learn how to do that to drums. BTW, does anyone know what the name of the song is in the beginings and ends? Its amazing..
I don't think its a song. It *is* awesome, though.. and *some* of it sounded like one of their songs [wolf, i think?] sped up :). Awesome video, by the way!
i feel bad now :( looking at all ur gear, i dont even have a good synth, im just using vsts :(
