Please check out the trailer to our upcoming feature film {EXODUS} in melancholia posted on our page. An avant-garde mixed media film by the Disassociative Collective's M. Woods. Also, check out our vimeo channel linked on our page. Influenced by Lynch, Pasolini, Bergman, Jodorowsky, Tsukamoto, Rivette, Cronenberg... etc... Thank you very much for your viewership. Upcoming show at the Manhattan Inn in Brooklyn, Feb 13th 10PM. Mind reprogram shorts program. (for the initial attack)
Oh man, this was awesome. They obviously have alot of respect for each other, but what I'd REALLY wanna see is a conversation between Lynch and Cronenberg. That would be amazing.
Any attempt to incorporate your billion dollar cult into the school system will be rightfully smashed. If you are a parent, you should not allow your children to this form of mind control. Once they get you at an early age, then it is nearly impossible to get them out. You will be responsible for enslaving your own children.
@janetpanic No, it clearly differentiates itself from other "meditation techniques" such as mindfulness and vipassana or yoga. Second, they charge huge sums of money for a personalized "mantra." Third, they make supernatural claims such as invisibility, flying, and "reducing crime" through the air via their techniques. They also have a hierarchy of leaders whose top guys run around literally with crowns! They don't tell you these things until you get sucked in thru "simple techniques."
@SoftCoreSeziure I'll let that one go becuz you have funny animations. But seriously don't waste your time/talent with this TM garbage. You can teach them a few things, not the other way around.
holy cow , is it just me or does D.L. look different? Like younger and comfortable...not that he looked terrible before or something....but there's something light and easy about him....hmm...if meditation does that...well...I better continue reading then...
@Dayberry he did rome, i was there. didn't even realise he was playing and BANG paul live all night six hours radical. same, same i don't give so much big up, more of a crimson devotee. but fuck man he does it and he's old like shit but still rockin!
@Dayberry He HAS done free concerts for charity. You can start respecting him now, Dildor. No one could afford to put on free concerts all the time. Between sound, lighting, techs, musicians, catering. etc... Plus he's got bills to pay, too.
@mrbunghole He has, a few times. But concerts that are free to the audience (ie, the one at Rusia a few years ago), doesn't mean he is not paid, the goverment probably payed him for that.
also, McCartney is one of Britain's wealthiest musicians, with an estimated fortune of £750 million ($1.2 billion) in 2009 (wikipedia), and holds the Guiness Record for MOST SUCCESSFUL SONGWRITER IN POPULAR MUSIC HISTORY.
@ernesto1985 so HE'S GOT BILL'S TO PAY doesn't really apply. He has enough money to put it in a bank and all his family could live off interest, until his grandchildren are dead. Really, it's a RIDICOULOUS standard of living.
Talking about free concerts is naive at this point, but I do believe he could have cheaper fucking seats, he DOES NOT need the money.
It's wonderful to see such successful people taking the time to try to help others. Meditation works and is just what people in our over-complicated societies need today. Simplicity is difficult for people today and that's part of what people experience when they meditate...they experience who they are and what they really feel - and what we all are.
It's funny in a way because David L. wants to get TM out there and the Beatles could have got most of the world into it back in the sixties, now here they are 40 yrs later still trying to get TM going.............
How did this world not explode from too much talent?

Paul McCartney has a fried brain. Though I I'm sure it was nothing great to begin with.
