What was up with the whole we got to do this island earth episode as a movie by itself? Instead of as an episode that took place after season 6 when it was foster and his mother together. Frank was not around anymore.
@slagarcrue85 - if you haven't already, check out episode 704, "The Incredible Melting Man" - the host segments are one long satire of their experience working for a big dumb movie studio.
I know it's just a show and probably meant to be a joke; but why the hell do Crow, Mike and Servo rip the movie in their apartment at the end? They should be kissing the ground be thanking God/Buddha/Zeus/whoever that they escaped the SOL unharmed and unscathed. I think it's a throwback to the first episode, but c'mon guys! Forrester/Pearl aren't controlling you anymore; You're free! Sorry, but that always bugged me!!

Mario Bava is one of my favorite directors. He made some AWESOME Giallo/Horror films in the 1960's and 1970's like "Black Sunday", "Black Sabbath", "Blood and Black Lace" and "Twitch of the Death Nerve" AKA "Bay of Blood" which, heavily influenced "Friday the 13th".
Man, all the vintage commercial bits you left in really makes me miss the Sci-Fi Channel. Sure, they ran nothing but crappy movies back then, too, but at least they had an earnestness to them, instead of bland mass media now.
For the last MST3K movie, it's not that bad on it's own without their riffing. Sure, the plot and the characters are a little silly, but the movie holds up a little.
i fell asleep half way through this, and rolled over and restarted it and went back to sleep, and had crazy diabolic dreams, at one point he had a reverse bruce lee wet suit (black with yellow stripes down the side) with bell bottoms, and he had european ass muscles, witch makes no sence, but it was like 3 thigh muscles for each but cheeck, and he could flex them all indipendantly... and that was "great" to him and europian ladies for some reason, and he was in a swamp for some reason... WEIRD!
Rifftrax is good but I wish it had the bots and host segments. People should also check out The Film Crew, which was a short-lived production, featuring the trio, that existed between MST3K and Rifftrax.
@FrontAlleyBoys - "Hercules and the Captive Women" (ep. 412) features Gypsy watching the movie for the first few minutes, then she gives up and leaves.

Awesome Episode that ended one of the funniest,wittiest Shows ever made. And with it's demise went everything else...TNT's MonsterVision/100% WEIRD!, USA Up All Night, and the list goes on and on. Thank God for YouTube and DVD. Long Live MS3TK.
Oohh I am so glad you have this one. Even though it's the....the...*sniffle* finalle...*cries, wipes tears* It's got to be ONE of the best episodes. Of course, It's extremely hard to pick out THE BEST with MST3K....I have so many. lol I even fall asleep every night to the DVD volumes I own lol, I've always been the obsessive type! lol Anyway, thanks again for being so awesome!
