MAGNIFICENT JOHNNY: WAS IT REALLY 1966 THAT I FIRST HEARD YOU SINGING MURISHEN DURKIN TUNED IN TO MY LITTLE RADIO IN OUR KITCHEN IN IRELAND?

This is a very touching ballad of human inhumanity to others. The feeling for this ballad comes through in Johnny`s eyes. Perhaps someday humanity will rise about such things. But alas, we are not there yet.

I never understood that line about Vincent's tears; anyone care to explain it to me, please?
On another video of this song, it shows a photo of van Gogh for the line, but I don't see a connection there, if any.
Thanks - Kegan

I believe he means that Vincent Van Gogh represents Holland and it's people.

That's a MAGNIFICENT ballad and your WRITING is superb. There is a certain magnificense about you, Johnny,....because you are lit from within.
Have you any plans of making a tour on the East Coast...i.e. NYC? the Bronx? New Jersey? Boston? soon.....we miss you Johnny.
By the way, your ad-lib on ....THE SPANISH LADY about hearing more noise when saying the Rosary was one of the BEST ad-libs I have EVER heard. lol
