The wild things are adorable. When Max asks them "who wants to be the bad guy?", they all break eye contact with Max, some looking at one another as if saying, "maybe you should be the bad guy". They are just like children on a playground. "Don't look at me, I don't want to be the bad guy!" haha.

I love how this film represents the wild things as embodiments of emotions, both child and adult oriented. They have such personalities.
