Here is the little boy from Tupelo,
the real home of the blues thanks to Elvis
putting so many kinds of music together as a child.
What a fantastic sound with the harmonica, which Elvis loved often in his music,
and sitting and walking along with the little kid
is just what he did as a kid himself.
A wonderful moment on screen !
I bet of all the songs in this movie, this is the one he really loved to do !

Thats definatly Charlie McCoy playing the harmonica. The kid is just an actor. I thought Frankie 'n' Johnny was a great musical, I watch it often. Elvis Forever

I went to see "Frankie and Johnny" with my older cousin at a theatre in Leesville, Louisiana when I was 11 years old during Easter break from school. I know nobody cares, but, it's 2:02 a.m. and I am drunk. Let me enjoy my fond memories, okay? OK

No, this is just an actor from the movie "Frankie & johnny".The harmonica on the recording (which you hear) is played by Charlie McCoy...

Charlie is super talented, i had the pleasure of working with him about 12 years ago in nashville @ masterlink studios, he was the music director & played some of the best harmonica i've ever heard on our project cd,
called "Deuces Wild" /the gambling revue
our producer Josh Nolin knows Charlie for a long time, thats how we were lucky to hook up with him.
