  • I love them all , primitives, darling buds but what about the flatmates!! No video's found so far!

  • The Primitives were better.

  • alex james from blur shagged her

  • yeah shes gorgeous but im sure we all bought the primitives aswell?

  • Dang Sexy Woman!

  • the do do do bit at the start wasnt on the album version, it was on the 12" tho.. funny how it was on the video

  • They rerecorded the entire song for this single version.

  • Indie bubblegum poprock. Ya' gotta' love it! Andrea Lewis had a great voice (never could stand Tracy Tracy's caterwauling) and was backed by great musicians.

    Thems were thar days, son!

  • Hear, hear...

  • as another said, miss beautiful and the boys. love them

  • I used to love The Darling Buds!!! They were one of the many blonde female led bands of the late 80's out of Coventry. Always felt that they were underrated! I loved their earlier stuff particularly. They just had this sound that was great! Although Andrea was always compared to Tracy Tracy of The Primitives, Andrea had her own style of singing and performing. I still have my old DB stuff from 20 years ago. Even the "Erotica" album had some good stuff on it. I'm glad others remember as well!!

  • The darling buds were from Newport Gwent not Coventry! primitives were though!

  • Caerleon to be a bit more precise, a few miles from Newport.

  • Sorry about that. It was extremely early in the morning when I wrote that and it has been 20 years. But thanks to wildeman, I guess I'm not the only one who was off. Thanks wildeman for clearing that up. Either way, I'm glad you guys all remember them and liked them. Not a lot of people remember these cool bands from where I'm from.

  • sheep sheep sheepshagers

  • we shag them , you eat them!!! gr8 band, seen them live twice. andrew dead ringers.

  • this brings back memories, very underated track!

  • the darling buds and the primitives very similar in sound both sound great

  • Bloody Hell, this was a fallow period for music. Thank eff for The Smiths!

  • Fantastic intro! It's not on their truly excellent disc, ...pop said. Burst and The Other Night are my favorite songs there.

  • great tune thanx for uploading

  • Wonderful music....beautiful girl. They deserved much more fame. She is the most gorgeous girl I've seen in the world of music.

  • Another gem from the olden daze...

How am I going to explain this to my grandchildren when they walk into my room at the "old-folks" home and they catch me playing this on youtube? Of course, it will be playing "like-live" in 3 D in the middle of my musty room by then, using 'frickin' lazer beams...

  • This is a GREAT song I love it!!

The Darling Buds were brilliant I've still got my blond bob to show it 19 years on since 1988!!!!

  • Andrea and her blond bob were great I've still got mine 19 years on! I thought they were brilliant and this is my favourite song they did Lets go round there is close though. Bye

  • great clip. never seen it before. thanks for sharing.

  • This is great, I wish there was a more complete and better-looking version. I don't understand why this great band wasn't more popular. Perhaps Andrea was too cute?
