  • What you mean by: not the pistol in the video?

  • hickok45

  • definitely a close quarter combat weapon and nothing else if it's full auto you like..very dangerous.!

  • Repeal NFA ravnwood dot com / archives / 005354 dot php

  • YOU ROCK SOOTCH! As a loyal subscriber, I have to say: lookit that jiggle at :47

  • how many rounds does it held in a magazine you use

  • That's a glock 17 converted to shoot full auto with a conversion switch. Not a glock 18 sir

  • @kai199191 the fist gun was a glock 18 but the last pistol shot was a converted glock 17

  • Second amendment plus!

    God bless America!

  • YEAAAHH !!!!!

  • Austria FTW

  • Now that is one Rockin' Glock! Great Video!

  • Hey Sootch! When you shot the G18, how was your accuracy. I know it looks fun as hell, but it also looks a little jumpy. Thanks.

  • Sootch and Hickok in the same video... How can it be anything but good?

  • ok i want one! i wish. for one i couldnt afford to shoot it that three seconds of fun cost you $10 but very cool!!

  • I think the modified one (as annotated in the video) is using an FSSG, which is basically a special cover plate that converts a G17 to select fire. But the one in the photo at the beginning is definitely a G18C.

  • what if u had to choose betwen glock and colt 1911

  • i had to come back to this video and say "haha" to all the ppl saying the gun wasnt a G18. go watch hickok45's video and u can see that it is. nobody ever thought there might be 2 guns in the video. just call sootch a liar

  • Out Fu*king Standing Sir! Out Fu*king Standing.

  • "THIS PISTOL IS A GLOCK 18C" .......period. Check out Hickok45's video with a shot of the slide. I had just handed over that same gun when he walked up. Notice at 0:25 the absense of a handle on this video. I appreciate all the "expert" advice, but you guys who are naysayers are mistaken.

  • @sootch00 its two different guns.

  • Did you hit anything? LOL

  • Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed this vid.

  • Just.... AWESOME!

  • so is it a glock with diffrent inside to others? always intrested me the full auto handgun, i 1st saw in a film and thought was made up thing, can u make normal glock in auto?

  • another reason i know this is a converted 17C is that its jamming. This jamming is caused by to early of timing (firing to early). removing about 1/20 of an inch from the face of the angled push bar that trips the sear will allow the gun to fully go into battery (chamber and close) before the striker (firing pin) is released. this will slow the cyclic rate just enough to eliminate the problem. Theoretically a G18 could have this problem as well if Glock did not set the timing. (very unlikely)

  • @gijoegotogo The pistol I was firing was a Glock 18c. Check out 0:25 at the back of the slide right before I started. There is no handle on the back.... zero. Hickok45 just posted a video of the same gun with a view of the slide marked "18c". I handed him that pistol after this shooting sequence right before he shot. The owner(Guy in white) was shooting the one with the handle and the Glock 18c. He was having issues with the one with the handle.

  • @gijoegotogo

    OPEN YOUR EYES.

    This is a G18C

There is the original fire selector on the left back

Instead of beating around the bush and say what you think

Your basically calling Sootch a liar.

  • @Breakneckhydra1 Thanks bro, Hickok45 has a view of the slide on his video of the same event. The guy in the white shirt was shooting a 17c modified to full auto and that's where the confusion was. I appreciate your comments. Sootch00

  • @Breakneckhydra1 not at all, there are two guns, simple as that, also note at 0:58 sootch makes an annotation about it, im sure he didn't do it on purpose, there is almost no difference between the two, but there is a difference, again this is not that big of a deal. see my other comments for why one runs good and the other has issues

  • @gijoegotogo all guns get jams sometimes even the G18

  • seems like a "useless" weapon to me, you can only like "take down" 1 maybe 2 guys if just going all out =P unless they all are out in the "open" =P, but in it's own right every weapon as its use i guess

  • Comment removed

  • concealed carry gun? lol.

  • Everyone there looked like they were having a really great time. The whole area had to be Zombie free and safe. Happy Memorial Day!

  • wounder how much the g18 costs

  • <33 Hickok45!

  • GOD MAN your soo lucky to of been invited to that shoot!!! must of been so much fun, im jealous

  • the police chief in a town around here carries a glock 18 with the fun switch on it

  • god bless amurca lang live the republeek

  • @coldironhands1 WTF!!!!?!?!?!?!

  • Glock 18 is Awesome :D

  • where was this?

  • I noticed that some have questioned whether these are actual Glock 18c's or conversions. They are in fact 18c's belonging to a local law enforcement distributor & used as sales demo's. The guy in the white tee shirt is a sales rep. Besides this shoot being a fun thing, it also is a fundrasier for the Wounded Warrior Project.

They both are identical to the picture at the start of the video.

The lug on the rear of one is for fitment into a folding stock / foregrip shroud - not a Glock item.

  • wow, that glock 18 is the worst thing in anyones hands. It increases the chances of an accidental killing. Nice glock could make it, but the potential for abuse crosses the line

  • "not the pistol in the video"...how many of these do you have laying about?

  • The full fun option!

  • ill take 4 lol

  • very cool.

  • Wow this is epic. I'm so glad that all you guys were able to get together and have some fun.

  • That pistol is a 40oz. size can of whoop ass!

  • Nice.

  • even if it is a conversion its still badass..and its NOT PLASTIC...its polymer..just as strong as Steele but much lighter and more reliable then S&W...not doggin the smiths atall i own a couple and love em but you have to respect GLOCK™... and SOOTCH..he is the man

  • Sorry folks, I cannnot get interested in a plastic gun. My SW Model 15, 'snubbies', and lever action rifle are all the I need. When the U.S. military, and the federalization/internationalization of law enforcement agencies all went to these foreign black squared plastic firearm designs, (it shore ain't a 1911), it showed me that the American government has given away a portion of America's sovereignty, for a bit of peace, which is exactly what Benjamin Franklin warned about years before.

  • @SFsc616171 Glock's are made of polymer not plastic. Much different. I am very glad that those guns work for you, but for others they may enjoy other firearms. There is a reason there is more than just two firearms for sale in the world.

  • @sootch00 ahhh haaa ! now i know why you didn't make it to ECP's meeting ! i think im gonna tell on you :P naa i think i can accept this as an excuse ! i wish i could have been there !!!!! long live the republic !

  • so you met fps russia at this shoot to right?

  • @vampire847 Oh yeah. Awesome guy. We spent a good part of the day hanging out. He's got some really great stuff coming up.

  • @sootch00 did he talk with a accent the whole time?

  • @vampire847 A meeting of champions!

  • @vampire847 haha! "Have niceday."

  • Yeah thats a converted one.. you can tell by the back plate. My guess is its a G34 with the back plate that allows it to go full auto. Probably a post dealer sample as well :) Neat toys.. looks like a blast..

  • cool that looks fun

  • I'd like to know more about the Glock 18 and how it is used by special forces or any police-type SWAT team. It is really incredible.

  • Cool to see Hickok and Big John in a Sootch video. Maybe next we'll see Sootch in a Hickok video!!

  • The only guy missing is Jeff from gunblastdotcom, oh and one girl...me!

  • Its cool to watch hickock shoot. Recoil doesnt ever seem to effect him. He must have giant hands.

  • @Glockoma441FA He does. He is over 6 foot tall.

  • @minecraftcreeper2 Hickok45 is 6'8" and so is his son John.

  • @Glockoma441FA I think he said he's like 6'8" or somethin, but anyways the guy is a monster

  • Hickok45 and sootch together is too epic for youtube. That would be like overload of awesomeness for me :)

  • That looked like a ton of fun.

  • me so hawny now me love glock 18 long time, DAMN YOU HUGHES

  • He's dead. Jim.

  • Awesome! That is one way to RocknRoll!

  • Awesome video!

  • thats some good shooting with some good people right there God bless

  • WOW!

  • THAT vid was SUH-WEEEEEEET!!!!!!!! Now that looks like fun.

  • Damn! That looked like fun! thanks for posting.

  • wooo hoooo, heard about this from Kenn Blanchard, the Black Man with a Gun! Sounds like soooo much fun!

  • very, very cool!

  • Awesome!

  • Look at Hickock handle that recoil!

  • I wish I could have been there participating in all the fun!

  • Can't people just admire and congratulate sootch for having some fun on the weekend and move on?

That looked like fun man. Hope you had a good time sootch!

  • Only an idiot would watch this, knowing whats it"s all about the click the dis like button. Sootch00 hope you and the guys had just fun packed day.

  • Now that looks like fun. The Glock 18 is on my to get list, though it is a bit down there for lack of funtion compared to others on the list.

  • @Jesses001 The G18 isn't civilian legal.

  • @Everett07630 It is considered a machine gun by the BATFE, so you must fill out some annoying paperwork and pay a $200 tax. Of course they are almost impossible to get as a civilian since you can not exaclly order it from the factory, but it is legal to own.

  • @Jesses001 It's not a civilian transferable NFA firearm because it was produced after 1986 when the federal law banning the transfer of NFA post 1986 select-fire and full automatics went into effect. Look up the 1986 Hughes Amendment to the 1986 Firearm Owners Protection Act. Don't believe me, contact the ATF, your state police, or any Class 3 Federal Firearms Dealer.

  • @Everett07630 Ugg, I forgot the Glock 18 was made after 1986. Now I have to go though the corperation in order to get one, which is more money and more paperwork. These darn laws make my head hurt, which I am sure was the plan when they were made.

  • @Jesses001 Because it's a post 1986 select-fired NFA weapon, it can only be sold to law enforcement agencies, government licensed Dept of Defense private security contractor companies, there are some exemptions and additional federal licensing for armors, R&D companies, government approved importers / exporters, and the movie / special effects industry. The G18 is not available for personal / individual civilian sale or even individual law enforcement officer sale.

  • It's my understanding that you need to be law enforcement to own one of these, since all Glock 18s were produced after 1986. I could be wrong of course, this is just what I have read on the internet, and we all know how reliable that can be.

Anyway, great video as always Sootch. And please correct me if I've been misinformed. I know I can get reliable information from you. :)

  • @fidgetingfinch I don't think U.S. law enforcement tactical teams used this sidearm too much. From my understanding it was more popular with European law enforcement agencies. Still, the G18 is an NFA weapon, so it would be for law enforcement department only sales, not for individual officer purchase. With today's compact select-fire submachine guns and carbines (think FN P90, HK UMP, Colt M4Commando, Colt LE6946, SIG 516PDW/CQB, SIG 556SWATSB), the Glock G18 is "antiquated".

  • @Everett07630 As far as I know, G18 is very rare in LE use in Europe too. In most european countries, police officer has to be able to justify every single shot they fire, including highly trained german GSG9. That being pretty difficult task with G18. There are better guns in the world for LE purposes. Only use I can imagine, could be some rare occasions when concealed full auto for close range is needed.

  • @jpenna1976 G18 was a late 1980's concept sidearm for marketed for counter terrorist law enforcement / military units in Europe. Originally it was in service w/ Austrian Einsatzkommando Cobra. By today's standards with the improvements in sub guns and tactical carbines, the G18 is outdated for its "purpose". A full auto 9mm pistol seems rather uncontrollable compared to the low recoil FN P90 sub that offers greater accuracy, firepower, and stopping power without over-penetration.

  • Sweet Sootch and Hickok together cant wait! I'd call you guys Seal Team 0045!

  • Speechless, but grateful. Well Done!!!

  • Custer could have used a few of those. Fun Vid!

  • I want! I want!

  • Man that looks like a really good time. Thanks for sharing.

  • Awesome video. I just figured out mechanically why the Glocks have such a reliable feeding system. This caused me to go shopping.

I just picked up my second ever Glock yesterday. Off to the range this week.

  • What's not to like about the G18!!

  • @MotorCityPrepper Only that you have to spend so much time reloading mags :-)

  • who's the lucky glock owner.......not me lol......

  • Hickock dumped a whole mag in the first pull. Awesome

  • Good thing its a 9mm, you couldn't afford a full auto .45. =/

  • ha ha mad Hickok

  • Sootch im super jealous!!

  • That NFA weapons stuff is bullcrap, the only reason that machine guns were banned was because they wanted to ban marijuana use (which didn't work) the only thing that law has done is make shooting less fun and fill up our jails with a bunch of innocent people. If we got rid of that law we'd make the liberals and the conservatives happy!

  • Such a shame that we can't buy new production autos with the NFA paperwork.

Glock 18 would probably be the funnest auto to own... And perhaps the most likely to hurt the shooter...

  • that had to be a fun day. outside shooting with good people.

  • it's just spraying bullets even in slow mo

  • long live the reupublic? lol typo!!

  • yeah, you know hickok45! awesome!

  • Not a bad weapon to have around for the zombies!

  • Always entertaining , thank you

  • I got a 40 round drum for my Browning 1911 too. Most folks are bias about guns that came from America, but only in America. That's to expensive for my beer tastes.

  • Looks like a lot of fun. The full auto of it also look very hard to get on target, but I bet it felt good.

  • Hickock 45 is a bad ass!!! Great work man!! Keep it up

  • Cool gun and great video as usual, thanks!!!

  • @phishintube Total foul on the Nutnfancy comment. Sootch and Nutnfancy went out shoooting together once and if you ask both Sootch and Hickock, I'd bet they say the have respect for him.

As for Delete, Don't know what hamster came back from the dead up his rectum. Sounds like a liberal.

  • Comment removed

  • @phishintube Okay, you don't like Nutn. But he's not responsible for Delete being sexually insecure probably because he's seeing what real people do on their weekends and then talking crap on Sootches site. As a mater of fact Nutn would be in here saying "right on" or "damn I wish I can shoot an Glock 18". Just the fact the Sootch and Nutn are buddies I couldn't let that one go.

  • And a Happy Memorial Day weekend to you!

  • @SupremeAmerican

i agree. but for the money, a tax stamp on a short barrel shotgun is more worth it.

  • Very cool. That day at the range looks like a lot of fun!!

    Have a great holiday

  • i have a full auto 22 pistol

  • @sweettooth80 I hope it's registered!

  • man the G18 full auto sounds like a tough little nugget. MUM! I KNOW WHAT I WANT FOR XMAS!

  • lol @ stovepipe glock

  • Hickok took that like a champ

  • is the glock 18 is worth the tax stamp????

  • @missourioregon absolutely

  • This makes me want a M93r...

  • that's not a 18C firing, its a 17C with a selector switch added to the rear of the slide. look at the still image and see the switch on the right rear of the slide then look close in the videos and notice the small block added on the back of the slide. Don't ask me how i know about this small detail. XD

  • @gijoegotogo that block on the back seems to be one them tactical charging handles.... without the handle attached

  • @vampire847 trust me it's not, i have touched one of the switches i am talking about, plus notice at 0:58 there is no switch on the left rear part of the slide

  • @gijoegotogo K but it does say 18C on the side>.>... i kinda believe you but im more inclined to believe sootch...

  • @vampire847 the gun you see at the start of the video and the one shooting arent the same if sootch will be honest about it he will tell you

  • @glock10mm well now hold on you haven't even given him a day to reply so hold off on being all mean like that and saying "if sootch will be honest about it!"

  • @vampire847 HIckok45 has his own video version of this same Glock 18c and he said it's definitely an 18c. The gun at the first of the video is not the one we were shooting because I couldn't get a good photo the one in the video.... honestly! Lol!

  • @vampire847 i wasent mean im just stateing that most people wont know the diffrence between a conversion and the real thing, and when someone tries to pass a fake off as real and gets called on it they tend to get asshurt becauseb it gets their "fans " to think on their own and thats not welcome with most of the big gun channels.hey if its a genuine 18C then thats what it is but you will never see one with a switch plate on the back thats a conversion

  • @glock10mm I don't mind if someone gives criticism or points out something wrong. I've left your comments up for that reason. No ones know everything, but I do mind when some calls me dishonest. If it's not a Glock 18C then I'll change it, but I have no reason to "Fake" anything. Bye bye.

  • @sootch00 not saying it's "fake" ,obviously its a real gun, i am just saying that there is a big thing on the back of the slide like a lot of post 86 dealer samples have, and i do not see a factory switch on the left rear of the slide.

  • @glock10mm Oh dont get me wrong i did a bit of research and agree but im just saying dont be going and implying someones not honest when they haven't even responded yet

  • @glock10mm The photo at the video beginning is a stock photo (It is annotated as such). I couldn't get a picture of the one we were shooting because so many wanted to shoot it. Hickok45 is making his version of the video and Bigjohn88 (his son) just confirmed it to me that it is an 18c..... to be perfectly honest.

  • @gijoegotogo If you look the clip at 1:00 you can see the selector clearly.

  • @gijoegotogo the first one looks like a G18C, but I'm with you with the last one, it has a 'happy switch' ;)

  • @formatC2 I rewatched the video. It's not happy switch. Even thou they are very common, when claiming to shoot G18. It is "ATI Tactical Reloading - Cocking - Charging Handle For Glock Pistols" with handle removed. Google for it. It seems they had two or more pistols to shoot. The one scootch00 was shooting had standars slide backplate and other on at 0:59 has ATI and also glimbs of selector on the side can be seen.

  • @jpenna1976 I re-re-re-watched the video and I have to agree. the one @1:00 is a G18C, you were right, good eye! ;) and yeah, we don't see alot of those "tactical charging handle"...

  • @gijoegotogo you are correct,i was looking to see if anyone else noticed that too .the only Glock 18 in this video is the stock pic sootch found on the net and tacked onto the front of the video

  • @glock10mm Yuup, it looked like the one in the vid had one of those enlarged 'cocking knobs' or what have you.... looked like the Ruger SR9 when they 1st came out and the striker would 'fall' out the back when you'd tip the gun barrel up!!!!

  • It's fun to watch, but I can't understand the practical use of one.

  • COOL GLOCK HOW MUCH ARE ONE OF THOSE 2000?

  • Very Nice Mr. Sootch, but I gotta ask, how did you get ahold of a Glock 18? I thought that they are practicaly impossible to get ahol of one unless a Glock Representitive brings it to you, and supervises you the WHOLE while, and it cost alot plus you have to have good reason to get them to do it... Then again that was told to me by my friend, an though most of his intel is solid, there are a few things that are sketchy, is this one of them? Sincerely- Brownnz.

  • its so cool that all you guys get together and make vids!

  • @DeleteMeOnline

Wow, your calling other people fucktards, I guess it takes one to know one.

  • looks like alot of fun

  • hes pretty cool. have you guys ever met before?
