Everything in the video is great: the display first, served by a top pilot (in one of my favourite aeroplanes!); then the images and the music, with the dramatic/intense support of the pilot's breathing and the plane's alarms. One of the best such videos. Superbe!

Bonjour, Great vid. Awesome flying and great soundtrack. Mirage 2000-5 with Thale RDY2 radar makes it a lethal aircraft with its Matra Magic. BTW does anyone know where this vid came from? Is a promotion video from Dassault? I would like a response in French or English? Many thanks

I don't want to jump to conclusions, and maybe it's just the pilot... but from what I've seen between the mirage2000 and the rafale, I think the mirage is more maneuverable and more capable of performing sharper turns or anything. Sure the Rafale may be more technologically advanced, but on a gun only dogfight, I think I'd take the mirage as the best choice between the two.

the rafale can take out 2, maybe 3 mirage in dog fight. french army is replacing the mirage by the rafale, they know what there doing, they wouldn't have placed billions for a plane that is just beautiful! and by the way, the rafale and the eurofighter have fought against each other (not for real) and the results have never been published! i think that the rafale is a very good plane, and the USAF is curious about this plane

Exactly! They pull massive Gs and need to be extremely physically fit. If they didnt breath appropriately they'd pass out, any pilot in any air force.

You don't give your position because of the sound you make. THIS IS NOT A SUBMARINE!!!! And when a pilot breaths like in combat it means that they are dogfighting => they know the position of each other

Bloody idiot even the USAF pilots breath that much in such manouvers. So many Negative and positive G´s there , very bumpy ride. Awesome flying! USAF sucks compared to European air forces.
