No it isn't. Dynamic stretches are always recommended before workouts or competition, with little or no static stretching. Static stretching should be for after workouts or competition.
@UnseenChaos Several studies have shown that static stretching cools down the body. lowers heartrate, reduces force production, ect. the total opposite of what a warm up does.
This guy really knows what he's talking about I would strongly recommend ordering his free ereport before pursuing his actual program however, his program is the best I've ever seen and my teammates and myself have great results and our coach uses this program so two thumbs on this guy. He has a great understanding of training sprinters and other runners but great results for me and I'm a sprinter so. Great job....

can you run and warm up ur body and then do static streching? will it be the same as dynamic streching??
