not to insult you, but i just wanted you to know that your pronouncing burgogi incorrectly. also, i never heard of strips of burgogi??? it's usually pan fried and has a flimsy form.
@diggerpooh Korean words are not the easiest to pronounce, cut him some slack. I agree with you on the meat though. Traditionally, bulgogi is not cut paper thin as Delaney put it. It should be a little thicker, around 1/2 inch.
I do love me some bulgogi, but as a kid I was always happiest eating kalbi, bulgogi's even more delicious variation. Was that meat you bought meant for shabu shabu? It looked a bit small for bulgogi.
