Im getting this phone!!!!! is it good? the speakers good im sure there better then the voyager. and hows the touch screen. my voyager screen broke

the youtube player on it screws up continuously for me. Sometimes i get perfect quality sound, and other times it sounds awful. any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Maybe a problem with Youtube and it's player. I have checked mine a few times and it seems to be working fine. Wish I could help you put more.

Well, I watched the second review after that comment. It might be the phone. You said something about the power cycles? That's what kept happening.

I haven't gotten it checked out yet, but do you think that could be a problem?

It could not hurt, if you have to hard reset it is possible that there is a software issue that is causing the problem between the phone and you tube. I would check other like sites and see if you have the same problem. If so it maybe the device if not it might be between you phone and you tube.

Yes you can but due to the speakers being located on the inside of the flip to the left and right of the internal screen it will muffled. You can close it and plug in external speakers..food for thought. Hope this helped.

Sorry I should have said internal these speakers are located to the left and right of the internal screen (Non-Touch inside) and the sound will be muffled unless you have the phone open or you plug in a external speaker/speakers. When I am at work I plug in the speakers we have for our office computers so I can listen to music while I work and plug the usb charging cord in so I do not run off the battery in the phone. Hope the tips help and that I answered your queston.

@R456jen Speakers like you would plug into an iPod, computer etc. The speakers are inside the flip so unless the phone is open it is too low to hear. If you plug the phone into an external set it plays fine and loud regardless open or closed. If you playback via the the phone w/o external speakers then you have to play it open to really hear it.

how do you upload videos from that phone if you set it on the highest resoultion & you dont have and external memory card

You video will take up a lot of the memory but you would still tether it to your computer and off load it from there. I find it easier to use a card and a 2gb will allow quite a few songs and vids and they are always going on sale somewhere.

I do not have the enV3 around here now, but I can try when it finds it way back here...lol. It is a lot like the enV Touch with the touchscreen. Sorry about the confusion with the video, I think the mirror effect was on . I will try to fix that on my next vid.

Horseloverrr999 it will really come down to personal choice. I would suggest that you go to local store or dealer and play with them to see what fits you best. If you watch vid, or like to play games on it where the entire phone is the joystick and things like that are best suited for touch. For just texting and making calls the enV3 is best suited for that. The touch gives you the best of both worlds, it 's a enV3 rolled into a touch. I wold check them both out & go from there. Hope this helps.

Yes Giftofstrlol there is a Youtube shortcut on the phone that you can slide on to the desltop so to speak and I have checked out my video there. You can also watch free and paid VCast vids to name a few.

Would you be able to get on Youtube, or any site that has video on it? For instance, when I get my enV Touch, would I be able to watch this video on my enV Touch? Could I go on a completely different site and watch a video of say... a trailer for a new movie.

Yup you can record and I read somewhere on how to set it up to use as a flashlight like the iphone app. Goggle that one and you should be able to find it but I think it is just for quick use as it will drain the battery fast...lol

Thats great Badgirl...I did have to send my first one back for a powering down and rebooting issue but the second seems to be working well. As Kingbee thanks for the info I have been looking into a extended battery. Since I replaced the first unit and charged it when I first received it and use it till it dies it goes about 2 to 3 days w.o needing to be charges and seems to be getting longer between charges. I get a discount thru Verizon so I would get 25% off the battery but that is good info

Yeah I did the same thing and drained it quick. I got two days out of it so far and that was on the second charge. I have heard that the battery life is not the greatest. I had to send my back due to a reboot issue and the charging port was loose so I will see what the new does with a full charge and will keep everyone posted.

i would suggest getting the extended battery for the env touch. it will go DAYS without a charge if you use the code "bat30" on the verizon wireless website you will get a $15 discount off the battery.

Have rec'd a few questions about the battery life...since the first day I used it the battery lasted just about a day with texting and set up. Now that I have had it for a few days I so far have gone two days with out charging it and it has had some usage texting and surfing.

yeah, i got it today and the battery life drained in about 4 hours...which i mean i was messing with it ( who doesnt the 1st day). so idk if that is why. Maybe now that its going to be more casual it will last longer.

The D-pad is on the left (Silver colored keys) when looking at the phone opened. The directional with the ok is on the right side which is your shortcuts etc.
