how did you make the alien look like it was behind the coffee table? Wouldn't the animation layer cover the video layer? I've always wondered how that was done.
@CoDisafishy The process of getting the Alien around the coffee table can be done by masking in after effects or by matte planes in 3DS Max. I used Max as it is easier to create a couple of planes to mask the CG during render time with video projection as background.Its just too much to explain the whole process on here.. thanks for watching.. :)
Very nice! The the lighting was really well matched! You're lucky you have such simple geometry in your lounge so that you were able to match the shadows easily.
