The far to polished look of the video, the superficiality of how that idea was treated combined with that cheap slo-mo effect, that ALWAYS works no matter what you're filming really lacks originality.

Even if it's not a movie, it has the same problems as the german cinema: No risks are taken,nothing is being explored, no aesthetical consistency, mediocrity is celebrated.

But I just saw, that it's an academy work. Well I guess, it's okay then ;)

@ChromeKong If you got the message of it, you'd understand why they used the slo-mo effect, why it's so superficial. Inordinacy and extremeness are used as stylistic devices for showing the decadence... oh wait, I don't want you not to think about the message yourself ;)

Love it, but need to say that the "Recorded live at Concertgebouw/Kamermuziekzaal Brugge on may 6th 2011" it's by far a better version with more intensity...

I discover the Brandt Brauer Frick Ensemble just a few months ago and can just hope that they will come in France soon...
