Everyone in the video was a high school senior (age 17-18) at the time of this video. This was something we decided to do on the side, though all of us were heavily involved in our school's music department--that's how we all met. (The two violins were the first and second chair violinists that year, and the cellist was first chair as well.)

The music was completely student arranged (by myself), and I was also the director of the group; it was completely student directed

Not bad, but it's hard to get the passionate vibe without the feel of the full orchestra. That's why the vocalist sounded a bit "thrown in." Great though, for what you had! I was surprised that the dramatic roll at the end was a piano! Wow, I have to try that!

there's not really chords there, i just kind of went along with the piano part. I mean, you can kind of call it C with an ommitted third?

the notes are:

Right Hand top notes:

C F, Eb F, Eb D C;

C F, Eb F, Bb C

Right Hand bottom notes and Left Hand notes:

G C, Bb C, Bb A G;

G C, Bb C, F G

Our school is 35% Asian, and has a strong music program; most of the string players are Asians who have been taking private lessons from a young age, but its a result of nurture, and not nature. But yes, they are very talented string players. :) Thanks.
