Really? I've not heard of the Mann. How do you like it, and what made you buy it? Those things are so big and heavy. Cost? I ask these questions because I had the chance to buy an Ibanez SG double neck copy of the Gibson model, for about $800 about 8 years ago. I couldn't really justify the expense, so I passed. But the neck on the 6 string was really great and the 12 was decent.
I've just done a bit of basic research as there's not much out there on Mann Guitars but it was a company in Japan that decided to make Gibson copies at an affordable price in the 70's. They had a short period of sales distribution in Canada during that time so somewhere in that time frame is when it would have been purchased.
I bought it off the dad of my bro's friend for $150 as he knew I played & thought I could put it to use. I wouldn't just go out & buy a double neck as it's not a practical guitar to own but as deal I saw it as a way to own a collectors item. The guitar itself is very nice to play & has a solid tone but due to it's age it needs quite a bit of work. I just do what I can with it right now but over the long term I will fix it.
Actually the double neck is a Mann. I bought it used & I believe it was made in the 80's in Japan but I'm not clear on the details. I'm glad you dig my vid!
Smooth tune.

Pretty cool! Dig the tone and the vibe. Is that a Gibson or Ibanez double neck?
